Shaftesbury Neighbourhood Policing Update

This week, officers have been busy working proactively and responding to incidents across Shaftesbury.

A Closure Notice has been granted following ongoing concerns relating to drug activity and anti-social behaviour, helping to improve safety and quality of life for local residents.

 Officers continue to work with those involved in a complex neighbourhood dispute, providing support and working towards a resolution.

 A male was arrested in connection with the theft of a van, which was subsequently recovered.

PC Chris assisted the Ambulance Service following an altercation at Riversmeet Park, ensuring those involved received the necessary support.

 We continue to work closely with partner agencies to gather evidence regarding ongoing anti-social behaviour involving tenants in the area.

Liaison has taken place with Environmental Health regarding a reported noise complaint, with enquiries ongoing.

 Officers have carried out high-visibility patrols throughout the town, engaging with the community and providing reassurance, as well as attending a variety of incidents including road traffic collisions.
